Our educational and interactive two-day conference & luncheon will focus on ethically covering life-changing stories. This two day conference is FREE to ANY college student attending classes at any universitiy and is $25 for nonstudent participants. A Free Luncheon will be provided as well as award-winning speakers that have experience in the Media field. We have Jeff Truesdale from People Magazin

e speaking of his experience covering the Ferguson Civil Unrest in his native home, Mary and Sharon Bishop-Waldin speaking on their experience as Tulsa World editors while battling their very own decade long same sex marriage lawsuit, as well as The Oklahoman journalists speaking about their experience covering the OKC Bombing in the midst of chaos and worry for loved ones. There are free workshops scheduled each day regarding topics like Broadcast Journalism, Photography, Advertising, Public Relations, Film, Journalism in Trauma, and more.
