“My name is Stephen Chesney and I am a recent graduate of Harding University with a degree in Bible and Ministry. I recently got married to the girl of my dreams (Katherine) and she is the Resident Director of Phase 6! We both love people and are looking forward to serving the OC campus together. Some things that I enjoy a lot: reading, hiking, walking, most sports, some video games, and some nerdy things like Greek and Hebrew. The biggest thing to know about me is that I love people, LOVE coffee and am really excited to get to know you guys!”

“Hey guys! I’m Cassidy Ward, the new RD for Phase 4! I graduated from Harding in May, and a few weeks ago God opened a door for me to come to here! I’m from West Virginia, and love almost all things that end in “ing”: hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing, painting, reading, running, swimming, camping... anything that is outdoors in beautiful nature, I absolutely love! I’m excited to be part of this community here at OC and grow in this season of new changes!”

“Hi everyone! My name is Katherine Chesney and I graduated from Harding University with a degree in Social Work this past May. I’m originally from Sherman, Texas and grew up going to camps at OC. I’ll be over Phase 5 & 6 Females! Some of my favorite things include: hiking, running, reading, and having conversations over a good cup of coffee. Stephen and I just recently got married, and we’re pumped that we get to start our married life together at OC and are grateful for the opportunity we have to work with each other while ministering to students at OC!”

Hi everyone, my name is Daniel Lawrence! I just graduated this last semester with a BFA in Gaming and Animation. I am 28 years old and have been married to my beautiful wife Nicole for 7 years. I am originally from Iowa and my wife is from Chicago. We have lived in cities from Cheyenne, WY to Orlando, FL working jobs from active military guarding nuclear weapons to working at Disney World, but we feel like we need to be at Oklahoma Christian and serve this community. For some interesting facts, I love to paint traditionally, watching movies and playing board games is always a fun time. I really like coffee, green tea, traveling, and learning new things.”

Hello! I’m Victoria King, the Tinius (sophomore girls) resident director. I’m a 2018 OC Family Science grad and this coming Fall will start my 4th year apart of the Res Life team, 1 as a CMA and 3 as the Tinius RD. My husband Jared and I have been married for almost 3 years, and we are originally from the DFW area. We have a spunky Goldendoodle pup named Poppy (the unofficial Tinius mascot). Poppy will be 2 soon and is working towards being a therapy dog!

I'm originally from a tiny town called Mount Carmel, Illinois and came to OC as a student in August 2015. I graduated in December 2018 with a degree in Music (Education minor). I currently serve as Resident Director of Davisson Hall Honors House (where I lived my freshmen year!!). Things to know about me: I recently got married to the love of my life in January of this year, I‘m a BIG animal person, I geek out about Broadway, and I love to bake & cook! I am so excited for another year and can't wait to meet all of the new students!!”

“My name is Miguel Mukelabai Jamie Mbumwae. I am from Zambia 🇿🇲. My dad is from Monze, Zambia while my mom is from Huancayo, Peru 🇵🇪. I just finished my undergrad in mechanical engineering at OC, and I am staying on to continue my masters in the same field. Just a little about me: I love sports, in particular soccer and basketball. Soccer is my favorite, I was in the men’s OC soccer team for 2 years. I am told I’m an extrovert, and I am learning to like reading 😅.”
