Our dental hygiene students and faculty had a great time attending the annual 2026 El Paso Dental Conference! 🦷
Continuing education is more than a requirement of the profession. It is a commitment to becoming better clinicians and better healthcare providers.
One of the biggest takeaways from this year’s conference was a reminder of just how much there is to consider beyond the oral cavity. Our patients bring their medical histories, medications, conditions, experiences, and individual needs into the dental chair. The more we understand the whole patient, the better prepared we are to recognize risks, make informed clinical decisions, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and provide safe, individualized care.
At EPCC, we want our students to understand that graduation is only the beginning of their education. Dental hygiene continues to evolve, and so should we. Lifelong learning allows us to grow with our profession, expand our knowledge, and continue providing the highest level of care to the communities we serve 🪥✨
