This weekend UTEP faculty, staff and students participated in the city's largest science celebration — the El Paso Science Festival. The festival included more than 150 hands-on exhibits and science demonstrations, many spearheaded by UTEP scientists and engineers, such as geode cracking; artificial intelligence demonstrations; fossil excavations; a chemistry circus; and a robotics playground.
