📣 MA Applications close TODAY! 📣

Consider this your final nudge to apply to be a Miner Ambassador. Here’s how Edgar has described his first year in the program:

“Being a part of the MAs was, by far, the highlight of my freshman year and my time at UTEP thus far. This unique organization allows you to serve at many significant campus events while also giving you the opportunity to meet influential and accomplished people. Being an MA has allowed me to learn about resources I never knew were available to students, grow professionally, and, most importantly, draw inspiration from those around me. Whether it was the Top Ten Seniors Dinner or working with the Golden Grads, few events are similar to one another, making each experience memorable. Being an MA has allowed me to be in rooms I never knew existed while working with a team that both inspires me and pushes me forward. Apply if you’re up to the task of working some of UTEP’s largest events, from commencement and answering questions from family members to making small talk with college deans. Picks up!

Edgar is a wonderful member & we hope you can picture yourself in our group. Apps are due by 11:59 p.m. Send your questions via DM or email [email protected] 🤙🏻🧡

Sandra, Lead MA, and Adriana, Program Advisor, were in Nashville, TN for the Recent Alumni & Student Engagement Conference!

Across three days, they learned from institutions nationwide about how student ambassador programs are building culture, boosting philanthropy, and strengthening school spirit. We can’t wait to bring these ideas home to UTEP and kick off a year full of exciting programming 🧡🤙🏻 Stay tuned!

I couldn’t have asked for a better team to serve alongside at both campus and community events. Through this program, we have had the opportunity to grow professionally, build meaningful connections, and meet people from across the university whom we may never have crossed paths with otherwise. Being a Miner Ambassador means committing to personal growth, leadership, and investing in your future while creating meaningful experiences for others.”

Thinking about applying to our program? Hear from one of our ambassadors, Daniella, on her experience!

“My favorite memory with the Miner Ambassadors has been being a part of the most important memories that UTEP students and their families will hold in their hearts forever. That feeling of buying their cap and gown, getting their ring, and walking on stage to get their diploma. Having the opportunity to help people in-person or backstage, it is an opportunity that I am so happy I didn’t miss.”
