Thank you Ms. Yang!

"We had a good turnout today with about 16 students. Some faculty members also stopped by.
In today's celebration, we learned three stories associated with the moon, Tang poetry and Song lyrics. Students also sang "Moon represents my heart" (Bon Jovi version!) in Mandarin Chinese! We tasted mooncakes and Taiwanese snacks. Finally, everyone drew a Moon plate.

The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on August 15th on the lunar calendar (September 25th this year) and the full moon symbolizes the happiness and family reunion. We hope everyone gets the opportunity to spend time with their loved ones and have a very Happy Mid-Autumn Festival."

Communication in action! 🗣️✨
Students in Dr. Mazzaro’s classes are strengthening one of UTEP’s key Edge Advantages: Communication. Through teamwork, discussion, and presentations, students are developing their ability to share ideas clearly, engage with different perspectives, and communicate with confidence.
These are the skills that extend beyond the classroom and prepare students for what comes next. 🧡💙
