Why should you apply for an ECC Foundation Scholarship? Viviana Orozco knows how it feels to receive one.

As a nursing student, my favorite place at ECC is the nursing practice lab on the third floor of Building A. We spend countless hours there practicing for our skills validations and it's such a motivating environment! There are always students in more advanced semesters or peers willing to take the time to help you any time you are having trouble.

Now as a fourth semester nursing student pending graduation in May, I know I couldn't have gotten this far without the support of a scholarship from the ECC Foundation. It was so easy and simple to apply! I love that you can apply all year round and don't have to worry about missing the deadline.

When I received the email I was granted the scholarship, I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders! I was able to focus less on financial stressors and more on working towards becoming a caring and competent nurse!
