ECTC Educational Opportunity Center

The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) provides information and assistance with the college admissions and financial aid process for qualified high school seniors and adults who want to enter or continue a program of post-secondary education. EOC provides services to individuals who live in the following counties:

*Grayson
*Green
*Hardin
*Larue
*Marion
*Meade
*Nelson
*Taylor
*Wash

Those participating in the EOC program will be connected to an academic counselor who will provide individualized, one-on-one guidance with:
*Completing college admission and financial aid paperwork
*Counseling on financial aid options and basic financial planning skills
*Preparation for college entrance exams
*Advice on postsecondary course selection
*Academic and career counseling
*Referrals to community and educational resources

EOC serves a variety of individuals including:
*High school seniors
*High school graduates
*High school non-graduates
*GED recipients
*Veterans and their families
*Adults looking to enroll or re-enroll in college

EOC programs are 100% federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education for a period of five years. There is no monetary cost to participants, their families, or community sponsors and partners.
