In honor of High Library's 35th anniversary this year, we invite you to explore our Catalog of Curiosities that will transport you back to 1990 when our building first opened.

Open any of our card catalog's drawers to learn more about the college's history in 1990 as well as references to news, culture, and technology from that year!

Thank you to Jodi Lancaster, Jennifer Wittmeyer, and all of the faculty and staff who came out to our dessert reception yesterday for "A Celebration of Scholarship: A Display of Faculty and Staff Scholarship, Then & Now." Also a shout-out to librarian Jennifer Strain (and others who helped Jen, including Susan Krall) on her hard work in putting together such a lovely display! For those folks who weren't able to make it to the reception, please note that you can still check out the scholarship, publications, and creative works on display until April 4 on the library's main floor.

Here are some great photos from the reception! Thank you to OMC for taking these photos for us.

The High Library isn’t just a building—it’s a popular destination and a hub for research, collaboration, and discovery. Whether it’s providing access to essential academic resources, offering quiet spaces for focused study, or creating environments that inspire innovation, the High Library is at the heart of the student experience.

This year, we have a $1,000 fundraising goal, and every dollar counts! Your gift will help fund:
📚 New e-books to support the College’s curriculum and research
🔎 Database subscriptions that give students access to critical academic resources
💡 Study-friendly enhancements, including lighting, furniture, and collaboration spaces
🔋 Portable whiteboards and power towers to support student learning wherever they study.

Wishing students and faculty a relaxing spring break! Here are the library's hours for the break.
