Phi Beta Lambda, ECTC

This Wednesday, November 7, Phi Beta Lambda will host our first meeting of the month. During this meeting, our guest speaker, Megan Stith, Dean of Institutional Advancement, will talk to us about her role here at ECTC and how she raises private funding for the college. She will also discuss the parameters we need to follow when fundraising for PBL and March of Dimes. This information will benefit us as we generate fundraising ideas for March of Dimes, our State PBL Conference at Eastern Kentucky University in April, and the National PBL Conference in San Antonio, Texas, in June! We will also be talking about ways we can bring awareness to March of Dimes during November's Prematurity Awareness Month.

Great Conference today! 💞

This team building activity was great, we’ve never met one another but were able to give the directions on how to build this protype that only the looker was able to see and describe it to the feedback. Then the feedback told the builder and the runner was able to see the pro type but only could answer questions for the builder with “yes and no.” Then the runner told the builder what we needed and told the supplier. I could only say yes or no as well and had to grab the supplies to build not knowing what anything looked like.
I had to ask for the materials and I could not see the prototype, if I didn’t describe it correctly I couldn’t get them.

We did a great job in teamwork.

Not only did we have this great team building exercise, but we had amazing workshops about how we want to improve Phi Beta Lambda!

🌷Spring 2018 has come to a close🌷
We are truly going to miss our two senior members: President Tyler & Brandon. We can not wait to come back stronger than ever in the Fall, geared with more PBL goal-orientated events! We hope everyone enjoys their summer vacation & for those that are enrolled in summer classes, we'll see you around!
