As a small child, I was regaled by my grandmothers with stories of my family history. On my maternal side, I am descended from half of the families who sailed on the Mayflower. On the paternal side, I descend from a family of Swiss immigrants who settled in Indiana. The home farm in western Indiana is still being run by the seventh generation of Yegerlehners. In 2012, I earned a Genealogical Resea

rch Certificate from Boston University. I have completed ProGen Study Group program as of April 2015. I anticipated "going on the clock" with the next two years to become a Certified Genealogist. I have maintained the blog: www.genealogylady.net for two years, and have transcribed over 950 letters written by my grandparents during World War II. I am currently in the process of preparing two books for publication. I am part of the research team of the new show Discovering Your Past.
