Central Washington University proudly unveiled the North Academic Commons to the public on Friday, welcoming guests from the Yakama Nation, the Washington State Legislature, NAC Architecture, Opsis Architecture, Garco Construction, and more.

Some of the distinguished guests who joined us were Christopher Wallahee from the Yakama Nation Tribal Council, state Representative and proud CWU alum Alex Ybarra, state Senator Mark Schoesler, and artist Ryan Feddersen, who created the beautiful colored-tile backdrop seen here. We appreciate everyone who helped bring the NAC to life!

While you're here, show some love to the current Wildcats and catch a game this season! 🐾

Thanks to Central Washington University Archives & Special Collections for providing and keeping these precious memories!

October is Arts & Humanities Month at CWU! 🎨🎭📚

We’re celebrating the creativity, ideas, and stories that help us better understand one another and the world around us.

Hear from Dr. Chris Redfearn, Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, as he kicks off the month!

We invite the CWU and Ellensburg communities to join the celebration and follow along throughout October!

Did you know we have a farm on campus? 🌱

grows food for our dining halls, creates hands-on learning opportunities for students, and supports the Ellensburg community. They're pretty awesome.

Give them a follow and check out their upcoming Gather & Grow events! 🚜💚

Before we step into a new quarter, we’re throwing it back to the first day of classes in the 1960s. The styles may have changed, but that first-day excitement never goes out of fashion.
