Throwing it back to a few weeks ago when mental health class got very interesting 👓🧠

We used impairment simulation goggles to experience the effects of different alcohol levels and substances while completing puzzles, games, and other everyday tasks. What seemed easy at first quickly became difficult, giving us a better understanding of how substances can affect coordination, judgment, perception, and reaction time. Such a fun and eye-opening hands-on experience for future nurses! 💙

Congratulations to Elon Nursing student Megan Linthicum on receiving a Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing Scholarship through the Foundation of the National Student Nurses’ Association!

Megan was one of 229 students nationwide awarded scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year, selected from more than 1,400 applicants. We are so proud to see Elon Nursing represented among future nurse leaders across the country!

The Bridging Faith and Health initiative is looking for a Student Video Production Assistant & Editor for Summer 2026! This is a great opportunity for students interested in video production, editing, media, storytelling, and health sciences collaboration.

You’ll help with filming at the School of Health Sciences and edit footage into instructional videos with faculty guidance.

✨ $16/hour
✨ On-campus
✨ ~10 hrs/week
✨ Summer 2026 opportunity
✨ Potential extension into fall

Hope everyone can keep up with Cyra Kussman because her retirement plans are already more exciting than most people’s bucket lists ✈️🌍

Right after graduation, she’s heading off to Ecuador, Peru, Machu Picchu, and the Galápagos Islands before making it back in time for the World Cup with her son ⚽ This summer also includes a 14-day trip through Bangkok, Malaysia, and Bali with her daughter, plus Morocco in the fall complete with camel rides and a night in the Sahara desert 🐪✨

Cyra has always taught us to live fully, stay curious, and embrace every opportunity for adventure — and retirement is clearly no exception 💙
