NCSL at Elon has had a busy start to the semester! We’ve kicked off our weekly meetings, sworn in our delegation’s new Vice Delegate Chairperson and Secretary, attended our first Interim Council of the semester at Campbell University, and had Elon’s Delegate Chairperson sworn in as a Supreme Court Justice for the Spring 2026 Moot Court competition.

We’re so excited for what is to come for the rest of the semester!

Thank you to everyone that attended our first NCSL Alumni Banquet and the Elon Interim Council! It was a great opportunity to reflect on the history of and connect with alumni, and recognize the growth that the organization has seen over the past few years!

This past weekend, we had the privilege of attending our first Interim Council meeting of the 89th legislative year at Campbell University!

📢 We got to hear from some amazing guest speakers, State Treasurer Briner and Campbell University president Dr. Downs.

🌟Congratulations to our DCP, Ellie Griffin, on passing her resolution entitled “The Implementation of Civil Discourse Programs in Public High Schools”, and to our delegation treasurer, Eva Farmer, for her first IC as our Secretary of State!

⚖️ We would like to thank for hosting us this weekend, and for all the other delegations that made this IC such a productive and rewarding experience!
