High school juniors and seniors - and their parents - are invited to attend the Lorain County College Fair from 6-7:30 p.m., October 6 in the Ewing Center Fieldhouse.
More than 80 colleges and universities will be in attendance. A special session on financial aid will take place at 6:30 p.m.

All students new to online, online-live or blended courses are encouraged to take the Canvas Student Introduction (CSI). There is a CSI Self-Enroll link available in the Canvas Help Menu. This self-enroll link is listed at the very top of the Help Menu in Canvas.

Amanda Badillo knew she wanted to be a nurse by her junior year of high school. So, she got started with College Credit Plus courses while attending Open Door Christian Schools high school. Today, at 22, she’s an operating room nurse at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, putting her skillset and her passion for care into practice.

“Caring for people is such a rewarding aspect of the job. I want to make sure that the patients who come into this surgical suite, which can be a very intimidating place, are comfortable and relaxed. And that they have trust in the team.”
