Six of the seven men recently ordained as Divine Word Missionary priests spent part of their formation at Divine Word College. Over the coming week, we'll share their stories and celebrate their journeys to ordination.

First up is native Floridian Fr. Brian Junkes, SVD. As a missionary in formation, his experiences took him far beyond Iowa. During cross-cultural training in Chad, he encountered the realities of life in a different part of the world and gained a deeper understanding of the people he was serving.

This inspiring exhibit by photographer Mark Hirsch is currently on display in the Weyland Art Gallery at Divine Word College and continues to draw visitors with its stunning images and remarkable story.

What began as a personal project to photograph a single bur oak tree near Hirsch's Wisconsin home became a journey of healing, discovery, and learning to see beauty in the everyday. The project gained national attention and continues to resonate with people of all ages.

Whether you're interested in photography, nature, art, or simply looking for a peaceful and thought-provoking experience, "That Tree" is well worth a visit.
