Are you discerning a call to religious life and missionary service?

The SVD Vocations Team invites single Catholic men, ages 18–35, to join the Discerning the Call to Mission online discussion series this fall.

The first Zoom session, “The Theology of Call,” takes place Wednesday, September 30 and will be hosted by Fr. Baruch Zinsou, SVD.

Join other men who are discerning and take an hour to reflect on where God may be calling you. Sessions continue in October, November and December.

Make space to listen. Discern where God is leading.

A little more peace, a little more art—and a wonderful crowd to celebrate both! Thanks to everyone who joined us last week for the opening reception of Imagine Peace.

Missed the reception? There’s still plenty of time to experience the group exhibition by Anamosa-based artist Xene Abraham and Project Create Peace. On view at Divine Word College’s Weyland Art Gallery through September 25, Imagine Peace explores how art, creativity and symbolism can inspire peace, hope and connection.

At the heart of the exhibition is a new peace symbol created by Abraham, inspired by both nature and sacred imagery.

We’re excited to welcome a new exhibition to Divine Word College’s Weyland Art Gallery! "Imagine Peace" by Anamosa-based artist Xene Abraham and Project Create Peace opens tomorrow, August 12.

The exhibition explores how art, creativity and symbolism can inspire peace, hope and connection. At the heart of the exhibit is a new peace symbol created by Abraham, drawing inspiration from nature and sacred imagery.

Join us for a public reception with the artist on Thursday, August 20, from 4:30–7 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
