PAs, M.D.s, and D.O.'s...our program is seeking a new Medical Director!
Gannon University is seeking proposals from board certified and licensed physicians or physician assistants to serve as the medical director for the Physician Assistant Program located at the Erie, PA campus location. The medical director would:
• Develop, review and support the PA program curriculum and competencies to ensure alignment with the current clinical practice guidelines and accreditation standards.
• Actively participate in the PA program curriculum through the delivery of student lectures.
• Serve as an advocate for the PA program and as a liaison to other members of the medical community.
• Assist with recruitment of supervised clinical practice experience sites and clinical preceptors.
• Participate in programmatic self-assessment activities, including assessment of the program’s overall effectiveness in preparing graduates for clinical practice.

The following is the requested format for medical director applicant’s responses:
1. Cover Letter:
Provide a cover letter that references the tasks and confirms that all of the elements have been reviewed and understood and that the information provided is true and accurate. The cover letter should be signed by the medical director applicant.
2. Curriculum Vitae:
Provide appropriate educational and professional experience which qualifies the applicant for the role.
3. References
Provide three references with:
Contact name
Title
Contact person’s phone number and email address
4. Scope of Services:
Proposals must include the candidate's plan for addressing each identified requirements and tasks. Candidate's must also clearly identify any requirements they are currently unable to fulfill in this section of the response.
