The Guardian recently featured an article written by Oregon Law professor and UN special rapporteur on the right to food, Michael Fakhri. His writing highlights food rights. This hard-hitting article emphasizes how food insecurity is deeply entrenched within human rights and social protection. Fakhri is an independent official advisor for the UN Summit on Food Systems and stresses the need for world governments to implement a plan to improve this pressing issue.
