Today The Daily Northwestern shared Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc’s mission and story, featured a few of our members across Universities, and shared our expansion efforts at Northwestern University!

Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc. welcomes its newest entity, the Vanderbilt University Affiliate Chapter, founded in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 9, 2022. The Affiliate Chapter is the first Latino Fraternity on campus and the second collegiate chapter in the state of Tennessee. The Affiliate Chapter’s founding line, “Los Luminosos,” is made up of the following students:

Angel Rodriguez
Bianca Castillo
Carlos Ortiz
Cesar Palacios
Michael Chyobotov
Niklas Cooper
Raquel Carrillo Vidal

This milestone event was made possible by the Expansion Committee, chaired by Veronica Villalpando, and includes Emily Lopez, Georgia Alcazar, Nader Irsheid, Ricardo Luengas. The committee represents alumni experience from the following chapters: Iota (DePaul University), Lambda (Illinois State University), Rho (Northeastern Illinois University), and Chi (Lewis University).
