I have been sharing a lot of work lately because I have been on a major publishing kick. Here is my latest press release about our work trying to understand what bacteria that live deep underground do for a living:

Researchers characterize nearly 600 microbial genomes collected from goldmine. Microbes divide into two groups: minimalists that have one, specialized job or maximalists that are prepared to use any available resource.
