Please join AASP in welcoming Scott Kurashige for a lunchtime talk on his new book!! Drawing from his new book, Scott Kurashige will break down some of the most troubling incidents from the recent past and show how community organizers drew on a legacy of Black-Asian solidarity to offer non-carceral solutions that address the root causes of inequity and oppression.

On May 19th from 12-1pm at Crowe Hall 1-132, please show up! Lunch and a copy of Scott Kurashige’s new book will be provided so we hope to see you there :D

Each year, the Asian American Community Summer Fellowship will offer Asian American Studies majors or minors a $4000 grant each to pursue an internship at a non-profit community organization that serves Asian American communities.
