It’s crazy that we’re 2 days until Wildcat Welcome and the start to our season... some would even say it’s PYSCHO!!

Today we shout out one of NUTs best Ben Spielman!! Ben graduated Northwestern in 2017 and has since been a leader on PoNYs D line (although wearing #3 smh). Prior to that Spieldaddy was straight psychotic on NUT, bringing his full energy to every moment.

If you want to play with us this fall come out to our WW pickup on Deering meadow.

- Wednesday, September 18th from 2 - 4 PM
- Friday, September 20th from 11 - 1 PM
- Monday, September 23rd from 10 - Noon

7 days until Wildcat Welcome everybody!! Time to shout out rising senior captain Keith Bohrer. Keith leaves everything on the field and is an absolute beauty while he does it. Can’t wait to see what happens in his senior year

In the weaning hours of the day we can’t forget that we are 10 short days from WW our first practice of the year

We also can’t forget to shoutout NUT legend Matthew Niemer. Matt is the definition of hard work, grinding away as NUT member and captain in his final year. It’s often told that Matt spent more time in the gym and on deering than he did in CS class. Graduating in 2018 with a big smile on his face Matt took that NUT hard work to Seattle.

Can’t wait to see all our new hard working rookies out on deering in 10 short days.

Oooh baby. 11 days until Wildcat Welcome and NUTs first practice of the year. Today is dedicated to Papa Jeff who led us with his wisdom for 4 strong years before graduating this past June.

Jeff recently scored a goal for Chicago Machine in the championship at Pro Championships just so that ESPN announcers would shoutout his former club team the Greater Gary Goblins.

Be like Jeff. Play for NUT.

Oh heck! Only 20 days until Wildcat Welcome and consequently, NUT's first time playing together again!!

Shoutout to former captain and future NUT coach, Jay Valdillez, who patrolled the skies of the midwest from 2014-2018 and won the 2017 Build-a-Bear Cutest Man Alive Award. He also passed his number along to Jordi Parry last year. Jordi made great contributions to NUT last season (such as being the chairman of NUT's first ever pod basketball tournament) and we can't wait to see what he does in round two...

In the dog days of summer, we tend to get complacent and forget about the upcoming battle, challenge or task. Although, we’ve been behind on our countdown, it’s never too late to right the ship (to those current players this means it’s never too late to hit the gym).

You thought we would forget fan-favorite Octavio "Tavi" Bruetman? Think again because we have just 70! days until Wildcat Welcome and our first practice!

Tavi is an absolute hero on and off the field and by the time he graduates next June he will go down in NUTHOS History for everything he has done, and of course his love of the Cats. Former Bolt captain with a "No complacency, 0-1, game to 2, mentality," Tavi is a great leader and an electric member of this community!

Post 4th of July got you down? Upset that you have to be back at work on a Friday when the rest of the office is off on vacation? Well, time to start daydreaming of the fall because we got 73 days until WW and our first practice!!!

With that we celebrate the, great, recently graduated Bolt Captain, Ben Laning! Blaning was a force to be reckoned with on Bolt's O-Line for the past 3 years and we will always miss him and his shenanigans. Thanks for a great 4 years Ben!

Thats right, we're back and got 88 days until Wildcat Welcome and the first practice of the year. We can't wait to see what he'll do in his senior season.
