in Leadership for Creative Enterprises program’s core courses teach you management principles that are especially important for creative projects. Elective courses allow you to more fully understand the demands, opportunities, and challenges of leadership that arise within and across particular artistic genres and to focus on additional skills that you deem important for your career. These managem

ent skills are put into practice in the final quarter of the program as you embark upon a full-time internship. The School of Communication’s program coordinators support and advise you during your internship search, helping you to refine your materials and identify roles and enterprises that are well matched to your career aspirations, which will allow you to begin honing the skills you have developed through your coursework. With a M.S. in Leadership for Creative Enterprises you’ll have the management skills and industry connections to help you easily transition among jobs and industries as your artistic tastes evolve.

Our alumna Mariah Eastman ‘25 is bringing her newest show to life! “The (fill in the blank) Between Us”, a production by Darvin Dances, gives the audience opportunities to contribute to the dance pieces “Take A Chance” and “The Choreographic Mad Lib”, and gain insight into the dance creation process.

“This event was an amazing experience where I explored food brands from around the world and their marketing strategies and packaging design. It also gave me the chance to talk with industry professionals and learn how brands position themselves across different markets and communicate with the global audience.“
