congratulations to our Beta Epsilon scholarship winners this Spring 2026 season: Leslie Clark, Mary Jetmore, and Anna Wies! (left to right)
Romayne Benedict and Alice May, two Evansville Patroness members of SAI, left wills that included bequests to Beta Epsilon chapter. It was the wish of both women that proceeds from their gifts should be used to sponsor scholarships for music students. This year, we held our second annual performance competition that awarded a cash prize for first and second place winners.
Mary Jetmore, clarinet, was selected as the first prize recipient and Leslie Clark, flute, placed second!
The Evansville Alumnae chapter awards the Mildred Blake scholarship, a performance-based scholarship, annually to a member of Beta Epsilon that will be returning the following fall semester. This year’s recipient was Anna Wies, soprano!
Beta Epsilon is deeply grateful for these important endowed scholarship programs that continue to foster opportunity for deserving members of our chapter. We’re so proud of our roses for this accomplishment! 🎼🌹
