It's that time of year again...celebrate the season at the 2026 Nanook Grown Equinox Dinner!

Join us Friday, Sept. 18, at The Pub in the Wood Center for a farm-to-table dinner featuring campus-grown produce paired with Fairbanks-brewed b**r. Students grow the produce, develop the menu, and help serve. The dinner has been expanded from 4 courses to 5. Proceeds from the dinner support the Nanook Grown Student Gardener Training Program.

This popular event is usually a sellout, so get your tickets early!

$65 includes the five-course dinner, five b**r pairings and one additional b**r. Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner begins at 5:30 p.m.

Limited subsidized tickets are available for UAF students who need financial assistance. Email [email protected] for more information.

Happy Earth Day, Nooks! In our office, every day is Earth Day - but we always need to shout out April 22nd. Earth Day started as a way to mobilize and bring environmental issues to the forefront of our culture and concerns. Every day, we at the Office of Sustainability try to embody what it means to be eco-friendly and environmental stewards.

Thank you to everyone that engages with our events, our social media posts, and our mission of making UAF a little bit more green! We hope today that you take the time to go outside and reflect on what a beautiful place we live in, despite the snow.
