Alpha Xi Delta- GMU

Alpha Xi Delta (ΑΞΔ)- Iota Alpha Chapter; One of 7 sororities at George Mason University. We inspire women to realize their potential!

Nationally, Alpha Xi Delta has over 150,000 initiated members and 116 chapters at colleges and universities throughout the country. It was also one of the ten founding fraternities of the National Panhellenic Council. We are growing and expanding rapidly!

On national Foster Care awareness month, Iota Alpha is extremely excited to announce Alpha Xi Delta’s new philanthropy. The Kindly Hearts Initiative will focus on supporting both children in foster care and those experiencing homelessness.
With almost 400,000 children in foster care and over 4.2 million children experiencing homelessness every year, The Kindly Hearts Initiative will allow us to support and aid through various organizations.
Iota Alpha is extremely excited to be able to focus on this new initiative! 💙

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Pancake with the Xi’s event yesterday! We were able to raise over $500 towards Autism Speaks. Hope you had a flipping good time 🥞

Meet Emma ⭐️
Emma is a junior studying communication with concentrations in PR and media studies, and a minor in sports management. Currently, she has an awesome internship with the Washington ! Some of her tasks include coordinating events that happen before, during, or after home games, and escorting young hockey players from the locker rooms to the ice and back!
She loves seeing the kids’ excitement.
“For most of them, this is the first time they are seeing their role model in person. I enjoy their energy and enthusiasm in and off the the ice!” 🏒⛸
