THE SHU Fit Employee Fitness Center (West Campus) is currently seeking interns for the summer term!

Requirements:
• Rising Senior or Grad Student
Exercise science, athletic training
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
• Some experience in a gym, physical therapy, sports setting
• 10-12 hours per week through entire summer varying shifts of early morning, afternoon, and evening.

SHU FIT Internship Responsibilities:
• Active gym floor supervision
• Lead group and individual exercise sessions
• Gym document filing and organization
• Equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks
• Amenities restocking

This is a paid internship.

As a social media intern you will be responsible for communicating with NaturalAnnie Essentials’ online community, providing feedback and growing their social media presence. This position is for someone who enjoys and understands social media. Your focus will be on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Create, schedule and post to our social media channels daily
•Some Editing and content writing
•Communicate and interact with our online community
•Grow and be interactive in our Facebook group

The Summer Lab Internship Program at Quest Diagnostics offers students the opportunity to gain experience in the clinical and toxicology laboratory environments while working at the world’s leading provider of diagnostic testing, services, and information that patients and doctors rely on to make better healthcare decisions. Summer Lab Interns work with whole laboratory specimens to perform a wide range of tests ranging from simple to complex, applying a combination of manual lab procedures/ techniques and state-of-the-art instruments. Interns will also have the opportunity to apply their background and skills gained in education to various process improvement projects.

The intern’s laboratory experience may include exposure in one or more of the following areas:

• Special Chemistry
• Hematology
• Microbiology
• Immunology/Serology
• Toxicology

Program Eligibility & Qualifications:

To be eligible to participate in the Summer Lab Internship Program, students must meet the following qualifications by the start date of the program:

•Completed Junior Year in a four-year baccalaureate program in medical laboratory science, chemistry, human biology, microbiology, molecular biology, molecular genetics or another human biomedical science-related field
•A minimum of 90 credit hours from an accredited institution with a 3.0 or better overall GPA

The Bristol Blues are a summer season collegiate baseball organization. They are members of the New England Collegiate Baseball league and play a 22 home game season out of historic Muzzy Field in Bristol, Connecticut. They are looking for students seeking hands on experience in game day operations. This position is an internship.

Skills Required

Role Responsibilities

• Assist GM with implementing promotions from start to finish
• Interact with Bristol community about upcoming Blues events and games
• Seek out prospective fans and groups for major promotions
• Assist our on-field entertainment team • Assist in concession stands, Dugout suite, and picnic areas.
• Assist in ticket booth
• Assist in merchandise stand

By the end of your internship, you will have experience in ALL game day aspects of a Bristol Blues game.

The Law Office of Eliovson & Tenore in Fairfield, CT is currently seeking an immediate, paid intern! Flexible hours and can be a long-term position depending on the candidate.

Ideal candidate has an academic background in business and an interest in finance or data analysis (an interest in law is not required).

The position will offer students access into multiple functions of a law office practice and in particular, in the field of elder law and estate administration. The student’s primary functions will be delivering client documentation to local banks, State agencies, and town halls; occasionally assist in data entry, utilizing Quickbooks software, to prepare Court-required reports and accountings; track client referrals using Excel and update client information in Outlook, and assist in routine office maintenance.

A strong candidate must:

• Have good organizational skills; Accuracy is a must
• Proficiency in Excel as well as basic Quickbooks
• A Business student or an individual with a financial background with a basic
understanding of accounting is preferred but not required
• Self-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results
• An enthusiastic team member
