We had some great speakers stop by for our social justice panel earlier this week!
We would like to thank Bobbi Brown, the Director of Communications & Development of Workforce Alliance in New Haven and Founder & President of 100girlsleading in Bridgeport, Dr. Paula Garay, the Co-founder and CEO of Emme Coalition, Inc, Diego Osses, the Executive Director of Green Village Initiative, and Reggy St. Fortcolin, the Founder of Fridgeport and Sovereign Land Trust for stopping by to discuss important social justice issues and ways to help in the Bridgeport community

Our Community Engagement group had the opportunity to explore downtown Bridgeport through a mural walking tour! 🎨🌆

Students connected with the local community while learning about the stories, creativity, and culture reflected in Bridgeport’s vibrant public art. What a wonderful way to get to know their new community and see the city through a different lens!

Community Connections in Action 🌎💙

Yesterday, our Community Connections participants rolled up their sleeves and helped clean the streets of Bridgeport! 🧹🌿

It was a wonderful way for them to give back while getting acclimated to their new community, meeting neighbors, and becoming part of the place they now call home.

We are so proud of our participants! 💙
