🌱 Advancing sustainable ag through innovation! 🌾

NDSU was thrilled to host the 3rd annual North Dakota Controlled Environment Agriculture Conference on September 17–18! Led by Dr. Xinhua Jia, the event brought together 80 attendees—including researchers, local growers, industry leaders, tribal members, and students from across the region.

From guided tours of NDSU's research greenhouses to student presentations from four regional universities, the conference highlighted the power of technology in modern farming. Attendees heard from keynote speakers exploring topic areas like hydroponics, precision irrigation, high tunnels, and energy-saving climate control.

A highlight of the event was seeing 24 students present their research during the poster showcase. The future of sustainable agriculture is bright! 💡✨

On Oct. 1, the NDSU community will come together to celebrate the inauguration of Marshall Stewart as our 16th president. Join us for the ceremony, connect with colleagues and friends at the community lunch and cap off the day with a formal dinner and free fireworks at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds.
