28 students in 3 cohorts completed the ReST (Resilience Skills Training) program. Across four 90-minute sessions each cohort addressed topics such as understanding resilience, connecting to a greater purpose, self-talk, managing time, stress, and energy, and future visualization exercises. Programs like these have been shown to help improve physical and emotional health, strengthen connections, reduce stress, improve academic performance, and help students manage challenges in order to achieve their goals. The hope of the program is to continue to develop the resilience of UMF's pre-service teachers and better prepare them for the workforce. As an added bonus, each participant earned a cord for graduation! The sessions were facilitated by Elyse Pratt-Ronco and was one part of several resilience events this year sponsored by a grant written and implemented by Patty Hrusa Williams.

Thank you to all the crews from near and far who have helped our community get through this weather event. And proud of this campus for doing the little things to support them.

With power restored to 92% of our customers, we want to thank our many community partners, including University of Maine at Farmington and Thomas College, for opening their doors and providing a place for some of our 1,500 crews to rest.
