The UMF Nordic team walked away from Regionals covered in glitter and frosting after winning a well fought for 2nd place!

The Beavers raced a Skate Sprint on Saturday, in which the top 30 racers would move on to heats!

Ayla Bodach-Turner finished the qualifier in 3rd place with a time of 4:08.8 and qualified for heats. After 3 rounds of heats Ayla manage to defend her 3rd place finish!

Cora Treiss finished the qualifier with a time of 4:44.8 and was in 26th place going into heats. During heats Cora fought her way up to a 19th place finish!

Kelsey McCrum finished the qualifier in 41st with a time of 5:00.6

Hoku Caroselli finished the qualifer in 53rd with a time of 5:11.6

Abbie Dumont finished the qualifier in 65th with a time of 5:43.6

Going into day 2 of Regionals the Beavers faced a daunting 7.5k classic race!

During the race Ayla earned herself a well deserved 2nd place finish with a time of 28:56.6 Following Ayla, was Cora finishing in 21st, Hoku in 29th, Kelsey in 46th and Abbie in 54th
