Patch collectors – here is an opportunity to own a unique set of patches! If you would like to own a piece of history and support a worthy cause, keep reading for more details!

In 2021, the women of the Maine State Police hosted the annual New England State Police Administrators Compact (NESPAC) Women in Law Enforcement Leadership Conference. All proceeds from fundraisers at the conference went to create a scholarship fund to support the young women of Maine in their pursuit of careers in law enforcement. These patches have been created as a fundraising effort to sustain the scholarship fund.

This year’s patch was sold at the 2025 NESPAC Women’s Leadership Conference hosted by Vermont State Police, represented by the green color and VT state emblems. Each year a new patch will be created to represent the host state. The 2026 conference will be held in Connecticut, so next year their state will be depicted on a patch. By the time Maine hosts the conference again, there will be a full set of patches representing each New England state.

The suggested donation is $10/patch, but donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. All donations will go to the Maine State Troopers Foundation Women in Law Enforcement Scholarship. To order your patches, please visit https://www.mainewomeninlescholarship.com/patch-fundraiser

This is a final reminder that the Town of Farmington Winter Parking Ordinance goes into effect tonight at midnight (November 15th, 2025).

There are still several vehicles belonging to UMF community members parked in the areas noted in my original email, all of which have already received warnings from the Farmington Police Department. If these vehicles are not moved by tonight’s deadline, the owners may be issued a parking citation and/or have their vehicles towed.

Please ensure your vehicles are moved today.
