Dr. Sarah Tanner-Anderson, Associate Dean of CGPS and former Longwood Educational Leadership, MS Program Director, wrote a book called "Leading Today"! Dr. TA shared that, "In my own experience as a recovering middle-school principal and school board chair, and in my role preparing the next generation of educational leaders, I noticed a disconnect between traditional, textbook learning and real life, real-time service."

Dr. TA continued on by saying, "I wrote this book in an effort to bridge the gap - to honor the messy and unpredictable yet valuable and rewarding work of the often unsung hero: The PK-12 administrator. Written in a conversational voice, with perspectives from the field, this book provides insight and advice for the aspiring leader."
