Dr. Gray, who currently leads our Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation (HHPR), will assume the role of associate dean for academic affairs and research. Dr. McDermott, a professor of athletic training and exercise science, will take over as HHPR department head when Dr. Gray moves into her new executive team position.
