As we close out this year’s Black History Month, we reflect with gratitude on the incredible moments shared here at the Arkansas Union. From the powerful energy of Shades of Ebony to the inspiring opening of the art exhibit in our 4th floor gallery, this month has been a meaningful celebration of culture, creativity, and community. (BIG shoutout to & for putting on such great events and hosting!)

We are truly excited for all that’s ahead this year, but this month has been a blessing filled with connection, reflection, and pride. Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring and celebrating Black excellence.

This week, we’re proud to shine a light on Nigel, our Assistant Director of Event Services at the Arkansas Union. Known for his kind demeanor, helpful attitude, and superhero-level problem-solving, Nigel brings unmatched energy and professionalism to everything he does.

Whether it’s managing setups, or leading his team with grace and perseverance, Nigel goes above and beyond to ensure every event runs smoothly. His passion for helping others and turning challenges into solutions truly makes him a cornerstone of the Union. 💪

Here’s what Nigel had to say:
