Curiosity meets Opportunity 🥽📝

Azaliah Wittmeyer-Balthazar, a dual-enrolled student at FTCC and Cumberland Polytechnic High School, was eager to develop her interest in biology and drive for hands-on learning.

Through the power of collaboration, she spent a year conducting university-level biological research overseen by Fayetteville State University professor Dr. Shirley Chao and under the mentorship of FTCC instructor Dr. Nathaniel Abraham.

Azaliah Wittmeyer-Balthazar's interest in biology drove her to undertake a research project few high school students would tackle.
