Imagine your life without freedom! The brothers at the Xi Chapter of Kappa Sigma believe it is vital we honor and remember our Veterans who have so selflessly paid the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the prosperity of our magnificent nation is preserved.

This morning we had the opportunity to come together with our community at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. We helped pick up the 11,000+ wreaths that were placed on the headstones of our Veterans who put service above themselves and defended our freedoms. The Veterans who said goodbye to their families knowing they might not return. The Veterans who sacrificed their life for the future of America. We thank them for their service.

Remember. Freedom is not free.

Congratulations to our friend and brother Dustin McDaniel (Xi '91) for being named 2025 Mid-South Super Lawyer. Dustin is not only a Super Lawyer but is also a tremendous supporter of Xi Chapter and all that we do as an alumni association.

Selection Process: The selection process is a patented, multiphase system that combines independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Exclusivity: Only the top 5% of all licensed attorneys in the relevant states are named to the annual Super Lawyers list.

Congratulations Dustin! We are proud of you and happy for you.

Selection to Super Lawyers is based on peer nominations and evaluations combined with independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of attorneys are named Super Lawyers.

In his illustrious career with the Arkansas Razorbacks, Bumper Pool consistently demonstrated his defensive prowess, culminating in a record-breaking tally of over 400 tackles - an achievement that solidified his status as the program's all-time tackle leader.

Known for his relentless pursuit and tenacity on the field, Pool was a cornerstone of the Razorback defense, often turning the tide of games with his ability to read plays and deliver crucial stops.

His impact extended beyond just numbers; he was a leader both on and off the field, earning respect from teammates and opponents alike.

Pool's legacy at Arkansas is one of dedication and excellence, inspiring future generations of Razorbacks to strive for greatness.
