𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐞!

Hands-on, real-world experiences for our students are what drives us. On Sept. 8, John Troxel, Network Administrator in our Information Technology Services (ITS) Department, led Kyle Miller, a student from Avoca, through the process of replacing a backup server on campus.

The work is being completed over several days. Miller works as a student employee in our ITS Department, and is enrolled in the IT-Cybersecurity and Network Administration program.

Well done, Kyle and the entire ITS team!

One of the areas that can be supported with your gift on our Chargers Day of Giving is Katie's Cupboard. The on-campus food pantry recorded 1,200 visits during the 2025-26 academic year.

The need for food and other household items is there. "I get food stamps, but always run out of food by the end of the month, so I go to select food pantries when I can," anonymous student.

Help support our students during the Chargers Day of Gving on Sept. 23. Every gift helps our students succeed. Thank you!

In this course you will learn the fundamentals of safe and effective whitetail processing, including proper handling, food safety, basic butchering principles, meat packaging, and storage techniques. Participants will gain the knowledge needed to safely process venison and maximize meat quality while minimizing waste along with proper disposal of waste.
