Please join us as we dedicate the Daniel W. Hehr Memorial Haz Mat Training Area. We will also be starting the Daniel W. Hehr ES & H Equipment Fund. Donations will be used to purchase equipment and other related items - primarily for the academic programs. Our dedication will be on Friday 18 May, 2012 here in Renninger Gym at 3:00. Hope to see you there. We all have fond memories of Dan and Renninger Gym!

It is with considerable regret that I inform you of the death of Dan Hehr, as the result of leukemia.

In the late 1980's Dan was responsible for the design and development of both Renninger Gym and the Fostoria Road Training Centers. In addition, Dan was also responsible for developing all of the initial training workshops.

When Information on funeral arrangements is announced, we will pass them along. In the interim please pass along your condolences to Dan's wife Evelyn and his sons Scott and Stephen at
2600 N. Ridge Rd. Findlay, OH 45840

Please keep Dan's entire family in your thoughts and prayers.

UF Haz Mat 25th Anniversary Celebration. Please save 14 - 15 October 2011 for our 25th Anniversary. Festivities will include tours of training and academic sites, parade, barbecue, pep rally and fireworks on Friday. On Saturday we will host a dinner reception that is in conjunction with UF Homecoming and Greek Reunion. Watch for updates and a face book invitation.
