Dr. Gary Herman, a computer science and mathematics alum from UF was the invited speaker for the Thirty-Sixth Annual Mathematics Day Celebration. His two talks centered on AI. Since his undergraduate days, Gary has taught high school mathematics and computer science and then served as a Curriculum Coordinator for Putnam County. He has since earned his Master’s degree and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at UF. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the College of Education at UF where he primarily teaches graduate courses in the Educational Administration strand.
