Meet Bekah Mack ('15), a University of Findlay Occupational Therapy alum who is making a difference as a Psychosocial Occupational Therapist at Johns Hopkins. Bekah works primarily with individuals experiencing eating disorders and other mental health concerns, helping them build meaningful routines, develop coping strategies, and engage in the occupations that support health and well-being.

We are excited to share that Carly Desphy has received the Fred Sammons & Barb Rider Named Scholarship through National AMBUCS! This scholarship is awarded to graduate students in occupational therapy (PT and SLP, as well) who demonstrate financial need, a commitment of service to their community, strong character, and clear goals for their future career.
Carly is a second year MOT student who's path to occupational therapy grew out of personal experience of caring for those around her and service to the community. Congratulations, Carly!

It is officially official! The time has come to finally name our newest UF OT program member… 🥁🥁 everyone meet LIGGY! Liggy has become a frequent visitor at the offices this summer, so it only felt right to make him our official OT mascot! Stay tuned for more Liggy updates in the future!
