The Writing Center provides FREE service to all students at The University of Findlay regardless of major. We offer assistance with many facets of the writing process: from brainstorming and “getting started” on papers, to finishing touches on citation pages and formatting. We can assist with MLA, APA, Chicago, and other citation methods; proper word choice and English syntactical style; the diffe

rence between plagiarism and paraphrasing; organization and structure; and a variety of other writer-centered topics. Please note, however, that the Writing Center will neither write nor edit a student’s paper. We will not read through papers with the sole aim of correcting punctuation errors. It is important to remember that the tutoring process is a collaborative effort undertaken by both student and tutor, with the goal that all writers understand the corrections being made and improve their own writing ability. Also, please remember that we offer no grade guarantees for assignments reviewed.
