🍭MEET YOUR RC’S THEY’RE OH SO SWEET🍭
☁️Q+A with RC Alice:
We asked Alice why she chose to join Greek life, Alice said: “Transitioning from High School to College was difficult for me and when I saw all the joy and energy people in Greek life have I realized those were the people I wanted to be surrounded by.” She shared that her favorite memory has been Greek Week in April because it’s a fun healthy competition amongst friends. Why does she stay? Alice shared that she stays because of the new skills she’s always learning from time management, planning and finding her voice.

☁️Q&A with RC Molly:
When asked why she joined a sorority, Molly said “I didn’t plan on joining a sorority at first but once I met all the sisters I knew it was the right decision for me!” RC Molly stays in sorority life because of the strong friendships she’s made in this welcoming community and all the fun everyone has with each other. Her favorite memory was getting her big sister!

Alum spotlight: Mairead Weagle. ♡

❥ Initiated into Sigma Sigma Sigma Fall 2018
❥ Favorite sorority memory: I have so many but definitely big little reveal when we dressed up in wigs! My last Teeter Totter we had so many problems to start (LOL) and horrible weather but then we all ended the night together in 123’s kitchen laughing it out!
❥ Studied Human Services with a minor in Disability Studies
❥ Graduated Fitchburg State in Fall 2021

INVOLVEMENT IN UNDERGRAD:
Mairead was Philanthropy, Alum Relations, PR chair and a Greek Council rep her freshman year. After that she served as her Chapter’s VP of Operations and President her senior year. She also served two years on Greek Council E-Board as VP and President. In the Panhellenic community she served as Treasurer and Recruitment Director. She’s a member of both Order of Omega and Rho Lambda. Outside of Greek life, Mairead was also involved in SGA, FAB and Dance Club. She worked as a Building Manager and Orientation Leader/Staff Assistant!

POST-GRAD LIFE:
After graduating, Mairead stayed at Fitchburg State pursing her Master’s degree in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She works as a Graduate Assistant in OSD where she loves helping out Clubs, Organizations and especially her Greek life children!
