Autumn Winds: Music in Motion

Join the NAU Symphonic Band and NAU Wind Symphony for their opening concert of the 2026-2027 academic year. Then, the NAU Wind Symphony opens with the bold brilliance of John William’s Liberty Fanfare, followed by the shimmering energy of Ryan George’s Firefly. Thank you Dr. Ivan Manzanilla for working with and sharing your music with us this week!

We had a busy two days with Dr. Manzanilla! He taught lessons, worked with students in percussion ensemble, gave a very informative masterclass on Mexican composers and their music, and performed a fantastic recital of Mexican composers. Thank you for bringing your artistry and knowledge to Northern Arizona University Percussion !
