Did you know?

Mott HVAC students learn custom sheet metal duct fabrication right on campus.

Instead of just installing pre-made parts off the shelf, students in MCC’s HVAC/R program take specialized courses in Duct System Fabrication. They learn the layout, cutting, bending, and installation of custom sheet metal air-handling systems from scratch inside the labs at the Regional Technology Center (RTC).

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Michele, RN

For Michele, becoming a registered nurse wasn't just a career move, it was a lifelong dream!

After working for over 11 years as a skilled medical assistant and stepping back to help raise her grandchildren, Michele used the Michigan Reconnect program to return to school tuition-free and turn her dream into a reality at Mott!

Thanks to MCC’s collaborative nursing program and dedicated faculty, Michele gained the hands-on skills and confidence needed to care for patients on the frontlines. Today, she works as a med-surg/oncology nurse at Henry Ford Genesys and is currently working toward her formal oncology certification to administer specialized chemotherapy treatments!

"Every single instructor contributed uniquely to my development as a nurse, giving me practical knowledge that I use every single day at the bedside."

We are so incredibly proud of you, Michele!
