We are proud to announce the launch of our brand new B.S. Engineering Technology-Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety-concentration👏🎉!

Congratulations to the Department of Engineering and Industrial Professions!

The B.S. in Engineering Technology – Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety concentration has been officially recognized as a Qualified Academic Program (QAP) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).

This designation means that UNA graduates are now eligible for the Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) credential—allowing them to skip the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) exam and advance more quickly toward becoming a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), the highest credential in the field.

This recognition places UNA among a select group of programs nationwide that are directly aligned with BCSP’s certification pathway, further strengthening our position as a leader in preparing the next generation of safety professionals.
