The School of Learning & Teaching (SLT) is hiring a School & Community Recruiter who will help to diversify the teacher workforce primarily through coordination of transition periods (such as from high school to community college to enrollment in a Pacific SLT licensure program) with a focus on BIPOC, those who speak English as a second language, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and other underrepresented and marginalized populations, grounded in the needs and realities of local school communities in the Portland metropolitan region.
The School & Community Recruiter will help reduce perceived barriers to college attendance and provide navigational assistance, especially within the local Latina/x/e/o communities.
