Light University is the educational division of the 50,000-member American Association of Christian Counselors. Its programs offers education and diplomas in biblical counseling and life coaching. The university's School of Counseling and Psychology offers a Masters diploma program which meets the eligibility requirements for credentialing with the Board of Christian Professional and Pastoral Counselors (BCPPC) as a Board Certified Counselor. Its programs are also recognized for continuing education (CE) with the APA (American Psychological Association), NBCC (National Board of Certified Counselors), and the BCPPC (Board of Certified Professional and Pastoral Counselors).
