For Maggie Livingston, agriculture has always been about more than what happens on the family farm — it’s about community, connection and helping others find where they belong 🌱🐏

As a third-generation Ram with experience as a founding officer of the Severance FFA chapter and 2025 Larimer County Fair & Rodeo Queen, Maggie came to Colorado State University ready to build on those roots. Now, as a agricultural education student, she’s preparing to become the kind of teacher who inspires the next generation to discover their own passions.

“Ag ed is a way to connect different people. I’ll be learning how to teach agriculture, work with students inside and outside the classroom to expand their careers, leadership, and agricultural knowledge,” she said.

Guess what’s getting a fresh coat of paint tomorrow?👀

Paint the A prep is no joke! So much goes into pulling off this longstanding, iconic CSU tradition every year. From hauling gallons of paint to lugging generators and supplies up the mountain, it’s a true team effort.

A huge thank you to alum Marc Parker (’05), owner of Maximum Painting, and alum-owned Impact Equipment Rentals for providing the paint and equipment needed to get the A shining bright again!

Shoutout to Alpha Gamma Rho and alum-owned Road Trip Moving Company for getting all the gear to the top.
