✨ MAJOR MONDAY ✨

Meet Emery Aasen (she/hers), a third-year student majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Microbiology and minoring in Chemistry! 🧬🔬

We’re so excited to highlight Emery and everything she brings to our ΑΣΚ community!

I chose Biomedical Sciences with a Microbiology concentration because I’m fascinated by the small things! I love learning how the body fights infections and how microorganisms interact with the human body. I hope to work in a clinical laboratory and eventually pursue research!

Go for it! Biomed can be challenging and sometimes daunting, but don’t let anything squash your passion. If you love what you’re studying, you deserve to pursue it.

ΑΣΚ has helped me become more confident in myself and my goals. I found a community that has pushed me through difficult STEM classes, helped me grow as a leader, and given me some of my closest friendships!

Immunology completely shaped my goals after graduation and made me fall in love with the field. I hope to start in a clinical laboratory and eventually pursue research on cancer treatments!

Meet Aleaha Schauppner (she/her), a second-year student majoring in Biomedical Science with a concentration in Anatomy & Physiology!🩺🧬

Aleaha chose this major to combine her love for science with her passion for supporting others, all while preparing for her future in veterinary medicine. Through challenging courses, the support of ΑΣΚ, and a drive to keep moving forward, she continues to grow both academically and personally!
